My weekend was quite relaxing, just like any other weekends. I once again didn't attend training, as my wrist haven't recovered fully yet. Saturday morning was spent visiting the acupuncture at Serangoon road. Shaun recommended me to a physician, Ms Lo. Haha, I guess I should trust Shaun as he had a number of injuries! :) I reached the place slightly before 9, apparently, I tot Serangoon is very far from town. However, I was astonished as I found out that it was only 3 stop away from Dhoby Ghaut, it took only 5 mins! That's very fast and efficient, thumbs up for the Land Transport Authority! Haha, I know, I'm a mountain tortoise! Asked for Ms Lo, got my ticket for my treatment. She was doing afternoon shift so I had to come back again at 3pm! So I travelled to and fro running errands which made me felt like an adult. You know, adults always run around and run errands. Anyways, went to Serangoon bus interchange to eat breakfast alone. Found this noodle stall which has many recommendations from channel U or whatever, so I assumed it was good. Haha, bought minced meat noodles, which was tasty! Took 105 home as it was only 10 30am, boy was I wasting time.
Reached home, dad advised me to study but I just procrastinated and watched tv, and then went to sleep, haha, I'm so piggy! Around 2 45pm, left the house to go for the treatment, reached there and it was number 11 on the waiting list, i was 16. Eventually, at 4 10pm, Ms Lo, who a Hong Konger diagnosed me and started twisting my wrist and pressing me nerves and all. That didn't hurt, the agonising part was when she pull out her needles and inserted them onto my wrist! It was the first time and hopefully the last time I will ever go get an acupuncture! When she inserted the needles, you could actually feel your nerve getting contact, it hurts like hell! After she poke 5 needles in strategic points, I laid there for 20 mins. During the process, you could actually feel your blood flowing along your veins, and I felt slightly uncomfortable. When I accidentally moved my middle finger, I felt an excruciating pain biting my wrist. Haha, I was not supposed to move, I learned my lesson well! Thereafter, she took out the needles, and i was told that I couldn't eat spicy, sour or cold stuffs for a week. She told me that I could train next Saturday and not to do weights for at least a week! Looks like this injury has taken me a month or so to heal! =(
Met up with Ling @ Cathay to catch When In Vegas, the show was slightly delayed due to technical incompetence! Anyways the movie's hilarious that you will somehow laugh out your guts! But just like any love ending, all is perfect, main cast fall in love blah blah. Why can't they change the ending? Ending is so predictable why don't they make someone die or someone cheat or someone something! HAHA :) Ate at food court at PS, 1st time I didn't eat my food with chilli, it was so blend! Serene came over to my house, watched tv, as we waited for my parents to come back, so I could send the princess back in her silver chariot! She bought my mum a gift for mother's day and didn't get any for her own mum! Haha, stupid boot licker, shall ask my mum to step on mud, see whether you still wanna be a boot licker! haha =) Sent the ducky home, and reached home at 140am!
The next day, Sunday, couldn't wake up for morning mass, went in the evening. Today like all Sundays was just relaxing and dull, no action what so ever. Watched tv like a potato couch and went for church. Before going for church, drove to Lingsie's house to get my medicine which was left in her hand bag the day before. Haha, if you want me to see you then say so, don't hide my things and be so sneaky! Haha :) Well, tmr's school, another 5 days of torment, yup life's a routine!
