CHRONICLES OF THE STUD MUFFIN!

Hello, had an eventful week. Last Thursday, it was Awards and Appreciation Dinner, where all CCA's, be it sports or uniform groups, attended this wonderful event. The ceremony was alright, Principal, deputy principal were all there. I was being awarded the half colors award for my performance during last year's POLITE. Some of my the other teammates received Full colors for their outstanding performance during the Regatta race, clinching both National and IVP Championships. Good on you mates! :) Anyways, the food that was being catered for the event was just simply yummy! Too bad Jun bin and Hai left early, doubt they tasted the food. Boy the chicken was delicious, the meat was so tender and smooth, simple gave the sensation that it could easily melt in your mouth. The cereal prawns were juicy and yet crunchy, there was beef stew which is so-so. I ate alot, two servings of beef, prawn, rice, chicken, fish. On top of that, had more that a handful of satays and 2 bowls of laksa! Yum Yum! Me = fat boy! Oh, my parents finally met Coach, they chatted for awhile, could tell that my parents were exhausted from hunting their food and socializing with the VIPs. Glad that my parents are so extrovert, they are so easy to get with, first thing when I saw them, they were talking to Deputy principal, Mr Foo. I was amused cos I tot that my parents knew him, because they started chatting right away after the prize ceremony. So I asked my parents, whether how they know him, my dad told me, that Mr Foo was hainanese and they started chatting. So, i asked my dad, how he know that he was hainanese, he told me that Foo is hainanese. Haha, didn't know that having a dialect, gives you the courage to talk or communicate. Maybe I should have the courage to ask Douglas Foo, where to buy steroids! See boys and girls, having a dialect is very important! :) :)

Last Friday, Lingsie and I caught the 3rd sequel of Mummy, which was supposed to be a block buster, but in the end it turned out to be a drag. I managed to sleep during the movie even tho the Chinese actress was very attractive. She wasn't those hot slut kinda girl but pretty and sweet just like my Lingsie! ( haha better put her name if not... get it huge from her! =X) Love you babe! :) So anyways, thought it would be something different from the Mummy and The Mummy Return. However, it was not the case, it was the same old, Mummy found, got dug up, apparently able to raise from the dead, once raise the mummy will destroy all humanity! Oh my, what's this? Mummy needs to be slain by our all time favourite, Rick O'connell must vanquish all evil before the mummy rules the world. Wow, why am I not surprised?! Anyways, it's really not what you expect if you want something better or different from Mummy 1&2.
Oh, my panel review..went quite smoothly other than the equation that we had. Haha, was quite funny, we anyhow apply to get a value for Thrust, which is needed to be known how much of thrust is needed to move the plane and whether it has enough lift. I thought that we could play cheat our panel, cos i tot they only know how to scold, talk cock and drink kopi-o. Was baffled when they started bombarding us with questions like, where you get the velocity of the propeller, why is it like this or why is like that..wow, was quite scary, tot they were going to pin our marks for that. Nevertheless, I asked one of them, whom was a RSAF retiree pilot, how to get the formula right. He has done his homework, cos he told me the solution that makes sense. Tot Ngee Ann teachers all anyhow get to be poly teacher then anyhow teach =) Looks like i was wrong, thank God.
Saturday, wooohoo, managed to get tix from Lingsie to watch the NDP'08 preview. My bro gave me two extra tix for the preview too, but I being MAGNANIMOUS gave it to kok keong. Haha learn the word Keong! We both + Ling and Thumb met up and ate at popeye's chicken. It was delicious other than the chicken, which pretty much taste the same. I like the Cajun fries which they had, which resembles Botak Jones fries. Omg, the mashed potato was sensational to my taste buds, it had all that yummy spices which sam didn't like cos it reminds her of Indians, haha! Had a mammoth appetite that day, ate 3 piece chicken, large mashed, large fries, wasn't enuf, so i order 2 breast chicken. Yummy, but my stomach was gonna explode.
Oh, Ling wore a gorgeous red dress out that day, haha the funny thing was, Keong and Sam wore plain white tee. Stupid Ling kept complaining the whole day, that it was my fault that she look soo dashing, she was irriating haha. See babe, really tot you look fantastic in your dress!!! :)

The parade was just plain awesome, from the beginning and not till the end. The starting was more exciting cos I think we were anticipating what is to come. We had loads of fun, seeing what was in our goodie bags, Aunty Chai was head over heels about what was inside. She was like OMG to everything.. I really felt privileged to appreciate the Black Knights performing their aerodynamic stunts, which was complicated and daring as they were moving at the speed twice of sound. How I admired them, then and there, I wanted to become a fighter pilot, but right after they stunts, I wanted nothing. Haha. Oooooh, I FREAKING LOVED THE FIREWORKS display! It was so wonderful to smell gunpowder yet see vibrant colors of sparks dazzling in my one's eyes. Everyone should go down this Sat to experience what i've felt, this Sat's display of fireworks is gonna be much larger.
After the parade, we 4 made our way to Maui Wowi? Some cafe which sells coffee, fruity drinks and food. At first, we thought i was a big mistake to buy the drinks there, cos many customers left their drinks untouched and left. Haha, but to our relief, it was not bad, esp the blended coffee, didn't really liked the fruity drink, bitter yet sweet. Thereafter we parted our ways. Reached home, ate again! Ate my fav korean noodles, added 4 slices of ham with it to complete my craving. Felt fat after that, o well, price to pay. Sent my little ducky back to her pond by 1am :)
